Wonderland. by *marinaretta is one of these photos that have a certain magical feel to it. The softness is wonderful, the colors well balanced and the gorgeous bokeh circles add amazingly to the entire capture. All in all a wonderfully captured drop. (Featured by ^impressionenmeer)

Firstly, congrats on getting a daily deviation. Its something that I have wanted for a long time now, and inspires me to improve my photography. This shot is great! a great simple composition that leads the eye, very well directly through the center of the image. The depth of field is very nice and helps the central focal point of the image stand out. the colors are very rich here and that was what I first like about the image.
The only thing I am going to say to improve this image is perhaps the dimensions. I think It might have worked better If it was square rather than rectangular. Its just a suggestion but It is the only thing that I personally I would improve.

What lens do you use for these amazing close-ups. The smallest one I have is a 50mm, and for the life of me I cannot get such amazing quality up close! Great work!

Jealous, that is awesome! I use my standard 50mm, but i can't get such beautiful close ups. I want a macro! D:
