The title of this piece is perfect, "dead fire", automatically my eye is looking at the grey and out of view background and I am thinking of a smoky world. Even though the smallest thing in the photo is the focal point, there is so much depth! The Leaf pops out at you and demands all of the attention, the detail of it is extraordinary. The leaf is a beautiful piece of stained glass in the middle of all of the grey. But the grey is also beautiful in its own silent way. The whole thing is so well put together, Congratulations on such an Excellent piece!
